Both tours begin with a half hour of video tape instruction, signing waivers, helmet fitting and a hands on introduction to the Segway PT.

Both tours start on the waterfront where the City began due to commerce on Lake Champlain.  The tour guide will point out the oldest and most significant structures left on the waterfront as you tour the bike path and waterfront park.  View the beautiful Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York from the fishing pier and Battery Park.  And then return to our shop through Old Town Burlington.

The two hour tour includes the tour of the waterfront with a ride up to the Church Street Marketplace visiting the birthplace of Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream on the way to the University of Vermont.  We return to the shop through Old Town Burlington.

Obviously the two hour tour is packed with a lot more detail and color about Vermont’s Queen City than time will allow in the one hour tour.  All tour guests will be issued a helmet and radio that will allow the tour leader to provide a narrative of what you are seeing.  We take pride in our city and want to pass as much information about Burlington on to you as possible.  Please feel free to ask questions of the tour guide.  They are well versed in Burlington history.
